Claw stud earings

Tasked withy making two claw stud earrings. 

started off with smelting, there after rolling plate till 0.9mm. cut out two strips of 22mm by 4 mm to make the settings.

Anneal the metal to make it malleable bend it into a cone shape and solder it st the seems.

Use a hexagonal punch to create reference lines  

mark off 2.5mm from the top and saw a line down to it, then use a straght frazer to make the lines larger. use a needle file to open the spaces more.

pull square wire till 1.2 mm cut a piece off then pull it till 0.9 mm to get round wire , and make O-rings with the square wire.

drill a hole in the centre of the small bit of square wire, to the thickness of the round wire. 

solder the wire into the hole and solder the top piece onto the square wire.
